Scope of Mandate
NestReady developed a solution at the intersection of PropTech and Martech that allows traditional financial institutions to better compete in the mortgage market with up-and-coming Fintech mortgage lenders. The company was looking for a strategic partner that would allow them to expedite their go-to-market and that understood the difficulties and long sales cycles involved with selling to large financial institutions.
Situation Overview
IJW canvassed the North American market and brought in interest from strategic and financial acquirers across the continent. Despite the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, IJW leveraged its network to create a market for the opportunity and brought a number of interested parties to the table.
Client Outcome
A full exit was eventually consummated with California-based private equity firm, Alpine Investors, and their portfolio company, Homebot. Homebot had built and aggregated a number of different PropTech solutions sold to financial institutions and saw NestReady as a very synergistic addition to its suite.
